Humanities Research Award 2015-16

The College of Liberal Arts is pleased to announce the next Humanities Research Award competition.

Humanities Research Awards provide funding for tenured and tenure-track faculty whose position is 100% in the college and whose work falls within the disciplines of the humanities. The awards support faculty in their efforts to bring a research project to completion, and the expectation is that the recipient will produce one or more publications and make his or her work known to the academic community through conferences and other venues. The award is $5,000 for three consecutive years, for a total of $15,000. Ten awards will be granted in the 2015-2016 academic year.

Faculty are expected to submit applications via email to by May 22, 2015.  We will announce the awards by the week of July 6, 2015.
