Every day, TARL works to protect and document archeological sites, collections, and historic records. TARL provides important educational opportunities to students so they can build their future careers, and ensures that millions of artifacts are cared for, that new sites are documented correctly, and that new research can be done.
But we need your support!
All of the above is not possible without vital contributions from donors like yourself. TARL relies on funding to help support our current collections, sustain research, facilitate special learning opportunities and events, and provide a space for continuing to foster knowledge in Texas archeology and beyond.
Donations and Gifts
Donations and gifts to TARL are fully tax deductible. Every donation is critically important to the work done here, and we greatly appreciate your contribution. Here are the ways you can donate:
* Online donation/gift - Here you can set the gift amount, frequency, designate an honoree, and/or provide a matching gift
* Mail in a check - please note your gift's designation to the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory (address below)
* University employees may give through payroll deduction

Membership in Friends of TARL is your way to show support for the important work done in our facilities, and allows you to stay connected to what's happening in Texas archeology.
The Friends of TARL membership benefits include:
* Invitations to TARL events

* Subscription to our new quarterly e-newsletter
Special memberships are also available for current Students ($20) and Retirees ($30). Students who join will be eligible for Friends of TARL scholarships. Please contact tarl.admin@austin.utexas.edu for information on special memberships and Friends of TARL scholarships.
