Accordion Block

Accordions organize content into "hidden" sections. The block is ideal for content such as question-and-answer formats or longer sections where you want to have each heading visible on page load. The accordions are designed to only contain text (no images, video, buttons, etc.). Double-click on the accordion item heading or body to edit the text.

Best Practices

  • If you have more than 5 items you can use mutliple accordions on a page.
  • Be sure that formatting is consistent.
  • In Pages, all options are 'open' for easier editing. On the published page, all options will be 'closed' by default.

Settings

  • Quantity: Set number of items in the block between 1 and 5
  • Move Item: Reorder an item in the block

Reordering Items

In the Settings panel you can use the Move Item function to change the order of the items in a Accordion block.

  1. Select the Accordion block.
  2. In the Setting panel use the dropdown to select the item you want to move. The dropdown will show the title of the items in the Accordion block.
  3. Use the Move Left or Move Right buttons to change the position of the selected item in the Accordion block.
