Books List and Highlights

The Books List and Books Highlights blocks provide a way to display a list of faculty publications. These two blocks are data blocks. The content of data blocks is edited and managed in Web Editor and not directly in Pages. You can manage the content for the Books blocks in the unit's faculty profiles and the blocks will auto update as you make changes.

The Books List block creates a grid of the unit's faculty books by reverse publication date (most recent first). The Books Highlights block can be used on the unit homepage to link to the Books page. The Highlights block automatically uses the three most recent Books in the Books List. Information about managing Books in faculty profiles is available at Editing Books in the How to Manage Profiles Guide.

The book cover image size is 280px x 420px (4x6).

Settings

• Division: the unit that the feed is sourced from. This setting defaults to the current unit but can be edited to a different one.
• Books_url: the link to the unit's Book List page.
