Books List and Highlights

The Books List and Books Highlights blocks are used to display a list of faculty publications. Both of these blocks are data blocks managed in Web Editor and not directly in Pages. The Books blocks uses the information from the Books section of the unit's faculty profiles. Information about managing Books in faculty profiles is available at Editing Books in the How to Manage Profiles Guide.

The Books List block creates a grid of the unit's faculty books by reverse publication date (most recent first). The Books Highlights block can be used on the unit homepage to link to the Books page and displays the four most recent Books from the unit's faculty.

Settings

  • Division: The unit that sources the book feed. The setting defaults to the current unit but can be changed.
  • Books_url: The link to the unit's Book List page.

  • Number of Years: Show either 5, 10, or 15 years of books.
