IMPORTANT INFORMATION Regarding Registration Advising: 

If there are no appointments available during the two weeks of registsration, I will be holding drop-in advising every afternoon during the two weeks of registration. Please see the schedule below and important information before joining the zoom waiting room.

April 9-12 & 15-19, 1:00 - 4:00PM

Before you join the virtual chat, please indicate your major in your zoom profile. This will ensure you meet with the correct Academic Advisor (we will be seeing a multitude of majors).

Enter your major in the “Last Name” section of your profile

Undergraduate Advisor

Advisers in the colleges and schools assist students in understanding the requirments necessary to complete their chosen major, inform them about appropriate course sequences and course content, and provide information about graduate school, honors programs, and career opportunities.

Undergraduate Minors and Certificates

The WGS and LGBTQ Studies minors and certificates are explained here.
These program have open applications. Students should apply to these when visiting with their primary academic advisor (of their major/home department).

Graduate Advisor

The Graduate Advisor is responsible for giving you information regarding your degree plan, monitoring your progress, and helping you out in areas such as petitions, scholarships, study abroad, and transfer of credit. The Graduate Advisor meets individually with WGS graduate students prior to fall and spring course registration.

Graduate Coordinator

The Graduate Coordinator keeps track of all students' degree plans, bars, petitions, conference course contracts, and the like. All administrative matters pertaining to registration as a WGS major are within the responsibility of the Graduate Coordinator, who works with the undergraduate and graduate advisors.
