Undergraduate Program

Our department houses three majors: A B.A. in Geography, an interdisicplinary major in Sustainability Studies and a major in Environmental Science (offered through Geography and the Environment (College of Liberal Arts), Geological Sciences (Jackson School of Geosciences), and Biological Sciences (College of Natural Sciences)).

The Department of Geography and the Environment is proud of the special opportunities it offers majors for study abroad, internships, and honors programs. Students are also encouraged to pursue undergraduate research in one of our labs, or via independent advising with one of our faculty. Reach out to us!
