Geographic Information Science

This track allows students to develop technical skills in the discipline of geography. The goal is to produce graduates with a feeling for the collection and graphical display of geographical data, and the ability to analyze such data through GIS and Spatial Analysis. The Department's labs provide up to date teaching facilities.

To satisfy the core requirements in methods and techniques, students must take two additional courses from the list above and/or the following list:

  • Note: In addition to the above, students of GISc must also complete the core requirements in Human Geography and Physical Geography.
