Hemispheres is proud to be the recipient of a grant from the Longview Foundation for World Affairs and International Understanding to enhance pre-service educator preparation in international studies. The goal of this project has been to create a sustainable teacher-training model that builds strong expertise in international studies across subjects, trains pre-service teachers in international topics, and develops a collection of new curriculum materials including lesson plans and supplementary materials for classroom use at multiple grade levels, and in multiple subjects that span the curriculum.
