Biography


Atar David is a Ph.D. student in the History department at UT Austin. His research focuses on the social and economic history of the modern middle east, with special emphasis on nutritional perceptions, agricultural reforms, and food-provision policies. He is currently working on the great depression in the eastern Mediterranean and its effect on land allocation and food supply.
