I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the history department, writing about doctors, the medical sector, and state-sponsored repression under the Brazilian military regime (1964-1985). 

I am also the Graduate Research Assistant at UT's Institute for Historical Studies, and the coordinator of the Institute's New Work in Progress Series.
