SciENcv - Research profile system for NIH and other federal funding

We highly recommend using the SciENcv toolkit for generating NIH and NSF biosketches. SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) was built by the National Center for Biotechnology Information at NIH. It allows you to create and store a personalized bibliography (My Bibliography) by importing citations directly from PubMed. Your bibliography is linked to your eRA Commons account, which allows you to see whether your publications comply with the NIH Public Access Policy and to associate your publications to grant awards. This in turn serves as a common foundation for biosketch building tools, which will walk you through proper formatting and citation requirements for building either an NIH or NSF biosketch. You then simply select or deselect publications, and they will appear properly formatted in your biosketch with all required links (e.g., PMID, PMCID).

We highly recommend setting up an ORCID ID profile. For Faculty, we will use ORCID ID to automatically generate CVs each year for merit review.
