MALS Minor

Minor Requirements

Students in majors other than Mexican American and Latina/o Studies can pursue a transcript-recognized minor in MALS. 

Total Hours Required: 15 including 9 hours in residence.

  • MAS 301: Introduction to Mexican American and Latina/o Studies
  • One Lower-Division MAS course
  • Three Upper-Division MAS courses
