Collegiate Collaborations

The Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies aims to build close relationships with other post-secondary institutions across the state of Texas and worldwide. Through Title VI grant funding from the United State Department of Education, CREEES has worked to build a network of collaboration among universities in Texas—and now in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana—in an effort to encourage student and faculty partnerships and resource sharing related to the study of Russian, East European and Eurasian history, language and culture.

Additionally, CREEES has created cultural exchanges of faculty and resources with numerous universities within our region, including Irkutsk State University (Russia), Omsk State Pedagogical University (Russia) and the University of Zagreb (Croatia).
