The Sociology Department office is closed until further notice. All staff are working remotely, so please contact us via email if you have any questions or need assistance.

The department is abiding by all official university and government policies and guidelines effective immediately, including those pertaining to travel, visitors, meetings, and events, in addition to research and instruction. For the latest updates, please refer to the university webpage.

The Undergraduate Advising Office is currently operating remotely for the remainder of the semester. Advising hours remain Monday-Friday 9:00 am - noon and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. To schedule an appointment, book a zoom meeting online at least one day in advance. For quick questions, contact the advisors at soc.advising@austin.utexas.edu.
