Amy Zhang is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology and a Graduate Research Trainee in the Population Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests involve social relationships and health, broadly. Amy works in the Life in Frequencies Health Disparities (LifeHD) Lab, which is directed by Dr. Jacob Cheadle and Dr. Bridget Goosby. Amy is also a researcher with The AAPI COVID-19 Project.

Amy received her M.A. in Sociology and her B.A. in Plan II Honors and Sociology from UT-Austin.
