Technology-free Activities

  • Phone a Poem
  • Daily Gratitude Journals – write down what you are grateful for each day
  • Abbreviated walks within the neighborhood
  • Playing an instrument, reading favorite texts
  • Writing cards and notes to family- include an addressed return envelope
  • Bake a family recipe
  • Record your personal history – childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, parenthood
  • Organize a few neighbors to talk to one another at a certain time each day- standing at a distance
  • Excercise and light yoga (can also do this virtually)
