2019 Gerontology Resources Symposium on 4/26 at 9 am

The 9th Annual Gerontology Resources Symposium is coming on Friday, April 26, from 9-4 pm at the Thompson Conference Center on the UT campus, featuring Dr. Kristin Hash, of West Virginia University School of Social Work, speaking on working with older adults in the LGBTQ community. I am attaching a flyer for the symposium, which includes information on registration. I have also attached the flyer about this year’s exhibitor fair at the Symposium. If you are a GRACE Student, there will be no charge for you to attend for the day. Recipients of the St. David’s Foundation GRACE Fellowships are required to attend. Here is information from the Office of Professional Development on registration: There are no discount codes this year. Instead, there are different "Registration types." On the first page of registration, after people put in their name and email, they'll be asked for their registration type. Among "Attendee," "Committee," and others, there are also "GRACE Field Instructor," "GRACE Graduate," and "GRACE Student." Current GRACE field instructors and GRACE Graduates will both get 50% off a full day registration, for a total of $50. Registration is live for the full day here (or at https://cvent.utexas.edu/S1904 ). Please spread the word about the Symposium and the exhibitor fair, since exhibitor tables will be limited.
