Internship Scholarships

• Theodore H. Strauss Civic Internship Award: to supplement paid or unpaid internship in the fields of public policy, public service, government, or politics for the summer.
• Department of Government Applied Political Strategies Scholarship: for students with an approved internship, preference given to students holding political internships, especially those working on campaigns.

• Gilman International Scholarship Program: for undergraduate students to study and intern outside of the U.S. with a focus on studying critical need languages. 
• Freeman Scholarship Program: provides funding to undergraduate and graduate students completing internships in East and Southeast Asia. 
• CREEES Professional Development Awards: available to students in ANY major at UT Austin who are interested in professional development in the realm of Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies.
• McWillliams Scholarship for the Study of the Former Soviet Union: to be used for the study of Russian language and culture, professional development (including internships), or research related to Russia or the former Soviet Union in any field.
• Center for European Studies Education Abroad Scholarship: for European Studies majors who are attending an approved study abroad or internship program in Western or Central Europe.

• Scholarships for Students in the Internship Program in Jewish Studies: for students participating in unpaid internships through the Internship Program in Jewish Studies.

Clements Center National Security Professional Development Fund: for undergraduate and graduate students who secure unpaid internships in the fields of national security and foreign policy.
