Inside Sales Representative – Round Rock, TX




Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for Inside Sales Account Management Professionals to join our Client Solutions - Inside Sales Team. We are hiring December 2014 graduates, May 2015 graduates and those who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the last 12 months.


The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Dell’s products and services (via telephone/web/email). The Representative sells Dell’s products including desktops, laptops, printers, software, and service contracts. The Sales Professional will respond customer inquiries and direct customers to appropriate resources for further information. It is critical that the Sales Representative be proactive and work effectively in a team environment. All Sales Professional on the team have a monthly sales quota that they are responsible for. Based on meeting Sales goals, Sales Representatives receive commission and are eligible to participate in incentive based sales contests. The Inside Sales Representatives will report to a Team Manager and will have coaches to provide guidance on successfully attaining monthly sales goals.

As a new Dell employee, new hire, Sales specific training will be provided. Topics for training will include: product knowledge, sales skills, tool usage instructions, etc. Follow-up training is also given on an ongoing and as needed basis. This role is an exciting and robust entry point into Dell as it gives exposure to a leading global technology company. You will witness first-hand how marketing and merchandising impact growth and increased sales revenue. Role Responsibilities
• Learning a broad range of Dell technology, products, and services and is able to identify how these products and services align to customer needs.
• Able to explain technical, industry, and market facts to position Dell as a competitive solution.
• Cooperates and collaborates with colleagues, cross- functionally, to support the sales process.
• Follows up with occasional outbound calls.
• Regularly adjusts to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
• Number of Products/Services Sold: Typically focused on one or two lines of business and attached warranties.



Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree completed by December 2014, May 2015 or graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the last 12 months
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Previous business internship experience as well as extra-curricular involvement
- Previous work, school or community leadership experience
- Organizational, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and planning skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively both written and verbal
¬- Very strong ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for results
- The candidate must have solid Excel, PowerPoint, and Presentation skills
- Outgoing, problem-solving individuals who can demonstrate they are entirely self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direction
- Demonstrate an ability to cope with a complex and changing environment while projecting a positive sales attitude
