Are you detail oriented? Do you enjoy digging for data? Is information or data design in your DNA? 

Our team is currently looking for enthusiastic, creative individuals to join its Summer 2015 Internship Program. As an intern, you will work under our team of Project Managers to learn the ins and outs of economic development while gaining real-world experience in a professional yet relaxed setting. Responsibilities of the Economic Development Intern position may include but are not limited to: 

• Gathering and analyzing data from various sources relating to demographic and economic information 
• Conducting competitive market intelligence on industry trends and developments 
• Researching and writing summaries on projects, programs, and organizations 
• Project shadowing through client and internal staff meetings 
• Contributing and managing content for the AE blog and social media 
• Completing and presenting an end of term project 

AE prides itself on helping its interns apply their academic knowledge while providing professional feedback and other job-enhancing opportunities. Interns applying to the summer program can expect to experience all facets of our office and participate in a range of opportunities, including AE’s meetings and sharpening professional skills. 

As an AE intern, you’ll be able to participate in the perks of life at AE, including regular training sessions and webinars, professional development seminars, group lunches and other fun activities. 

Interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer term.
