 Job Summary

We are looking for motivated self-starters with initiative and creativity looking to gain experience in the growing fields of online marketing and search engine marketing (SEM). Your work will directly impact the leading new home listing website, The search marketing intern is responsible for assisting with the production, implementation, and execution of search marketing efforts. Primary responsibilities are content creation and quantitative analysis of your results. This is a position designed to support BHI’s search marketing strategy. 

This position requires a strong writing/editing background, knowledge of online communication, strong analytical skills and a researcher’s mindset. He or she will work closely with the search marketing team as you learn how to develop and execute online search tactics supporting paid and organic search goals.

This position is full time (40 hours per week) to be worked Monday through Friday. BHI is willing to work with students who could earn college credit.  

Core Duties/Responsibilities 
• Researches and writes a combination of consumer-centric on-site content 
• Edits work of freelance copywriters. 
• Learns about the role of SEM in the world of online marketing. 
• Performance extensive analysis involved using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

• Extremely strong written communication skills including the abilities match tone of voice and write in multiple formats (long-form, technical, outreach, ad copy, and article writing). 
• Willing to learn the basic tenets of search engine optimization. 
• Demonstrates strong researching skills. 
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment is expected. 
• The ability to successfully work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 
• Candidate for a bachelor’s degree at a four-year, accredited college or university. 
• Strong proficiency with both MS Word and PowerPoint required. Strong Excel skills are highly desired as well
