Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Director's Financial Analyst, Application Deadline, BTT Gateway Job ID 9099

Thu, September 18, 2014

As a Director’s Financial Analyst, you will contribute your skills in data and policy analysis, structured thinking, and problem-solving to help frame and influence substantive policy choices and agency-wide strategy. This two-year rotational program is based in the Office of the Director, and provides access to a variety of project work and policy initiatives from across the Bureau. You will begin your rotations on our Strategic Projects and Risk Analytics team, where you will focus on projects that optimize internal and external performance of the Bureau’s Supervision program, including monitoring markets to identify institutions and products with the most risk to consumers.

You also will have the opportunity to rotate between teams within the Bureau that conduct cutting-edge economic research; develop tools and strategies to engage and educate consumers; track consumer trends within the product markets we regulate; and shape the operations of a dynamic federal agency. You will use statistical packages and industry-specific databases to arrive at innovative insights based on thorough analysis. You will share your findings through written, oral, and visual presentations and will engage with a variety of stakeholders across the Bureau to drive decision-making.

…And you’ll do it all as a member of one of the most ground-breaking agencies in the United States Federal government!
