Responsibilities: 
-Identify, scan, and classify legal documents to ensure that our clients’ land systems are completely up-to-date 

-Review mineral leases, deeds, and land contracts to ensure that relevant information is correctly entered into our clients’ land systems and all ownership is properly accounted for 

-Identify and accurately map clients’ oil and gas holdings using GIS software 
Calculate clients’ oil and gas interests and identify errors in historical calculations. 

-Review well payment records for accuracy 
Work with a team of lease analysts on various projects, ensuring that information is communicated to the rest of the team and that data standards are adhered to 
Meet all assigned production goals and deadlines for each project 

-Work in our client offices periodically, maintaining appropriate personal conduct and a professional demeanor 
Become a registered landman and participate as an active member of the AAPL 

Qualifications: 
-Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or the sciences 

-3.0 GPA or above 

-Applicant must be self-motivated, driven to excel, inquisitive, and engaged. 

-Detail-oriented, thorough and well-organized 

-Independently able to establish priorities and coordinate assignments within established time frames 

-Writing skills sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents, using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation 

-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify problems and implement corrective processes 

-Excellent time-management skills, ability to complete critical tasks and deadlines in a timely matter 
Eagerness to learn new concepts/practices; ability to learn quickly 

-Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a changing environment 

-Strong leadership skills, able to prioritize and delegate tasks and make quick decisions 

-Exemplary computer skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
