Sales Intern 
Location: Austin, Texas 

As a Sales Intern for the Machine-to-Machine and Internet of Things team located in Austin, Texas you will have the rare opportunity to work directly with a senior sales team that is searching for someone who is eager to jump in and learn about a new and exciting industry while gaining experience with an established international technology company.  

You will perform market research that will be used by the sales and marketing teams to shape our marketing and business development strategy. These market analysis projects will provide excellent experience for positions in sales, business development, marketing, and market analysis.  

A week in the life of a Sales Intern: 
• You will analyze multiple verticals of the rapidly expanding Internet of Things market.  
• You will be responsible for maintaining and organizing details of market research, analyzing market trends and researching potential customers.  
• You will gain in-depth skills related to market analysis, target mapping and synthesis of information from multiple sources. 
• You will learn more about communication and follow-up in a professional organization. 
• You will gain proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and the use of Salesforce.com. 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 
• To succeed at this job, you must have: strong organization and attention to detail; a demonstrated interested in sales, business development or market analysis in the technology industry and understanding of Microsoft Office. 
• You must be fluent in English. 
• We would like someone to join our team who is a strong written and verbal communicator, entrepreneurial, takes ownership of projects and works autonomously with quality results and an affinity toward analytics.  
• You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
