This position will include involvement in and creation of tasks specific to reaching and serving more victims and survivors of substance impaired driving crashes, staff and volunteer recognitions programs, outreach. 
Task can include, but are not limited to: 
1. Help in the creation of a staff and volunteer recognition program 
2. Routinely assist with MADD’s 24 Hour Help Line 
3. Routinely assist with MADD’s Live Chat 
4. Research funding opportunities for MADD Victim Services 
5. Maintaining MADD Victim Services active and inactive advocate and peer database 
6. Work with National Victim Services Department in the planning and developing of MADD’s National Conference and Vigil to honor victims and survivors 

1. Applicants seeking their degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice or Psychology are preferred. 
2. Current college students seeking to gain knowledge and experience in advocating and working with victims and survivors of substance impaired driving crashes. 
3. Available to work between the hours of 8am to 5pm; although interns are not required to commit to whole days, a set schedule will be set, as can be negotiated.
