As a Consultant at Quorum, you will work as part of a team focused on developing solutions to complex business problems through the development, installation, integration, testing and support of our business software applications. Consultants will participate in Quorum’s one month New Hire Orientation Training program which focuses on software technology and provides the necessary foundation and skills to start building a successful career. For this reason, you are not required or expected to have a technology or programming background. However, a strong desire for continuous learning and growth of technical skills, problem solving skills and business acumen are key, since much of the work is done under Client direction, the position could involve extensive user interaction and require great interpersonal skills. 
In the Consultant position, your roles and responsibilities could include: 
• Working in small teams on established activities or as a part of larger projects 
• Working with Clients to obtain business and technical specifications to help develop and implement next generation software solutions 
• Participating in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementation 
• Working closely with or as part of our development teams to integrate release software into Client environments 
• Helping to maintain Client relationships by providing ongoing support for installed solutions 
• Providing guidance and mentoring for less experienced consultants 
• Participating in company building exercises, such as recruiting or delivery of internal training courses 
For this position, we are looking for individuals that meet the following base qualifications: 
• Bachelor degree in Business fields that have an analytical component such as Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines 
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident with no need for current or future sponsorship 
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% during the work week 
• Internship and/or other related work experience is strongly preferred 
• Active participation and leadership in academic/student organizations 
• Demonstrated leadership prowess, including solving complex problems, managing project schedules and fostering team collaboration 
• Aspiration or work experience in the energy industry 
• Aspiration or work experience in developing and implementing solutions for Client needs 
• Entrepreneurial skills, including motivation to take on more responsibility 
• Interest to help grow and develop Client relationships through direct and meaningful interaction
