The Software Advisor position is the perfect opportunity for an energetic recent graduate or experienced salesperson interested in building a career in technology sales. As a Software Advisor, you will be on the front lines of our business, advising buyers on which software systems will best fit their needs. Each day you will help buyers through the challenge of software selection, while making a direct impact on our company’s growth. In turn, you will be in control of your own earnings. There is no cold calling and we have more leads than we can handle. 

Our ideal candidate: 
- is not afraid of the phone and has a surplus of energy; 
- has a curiosity about the high-tech world; 
- views sales as a path to uncapped income and fulfillment; and 
- has extraordinary "people skills" and enjoys interacting. 

No software experience? No problem. To succeed, you will need a strong work ethic, a great phone presence, and an abundance of energy. We’ll teach you the rest. Our growth will give you the opportunity to grow your responsibilities over time. 

What we do 
Software Advice is an innovative demand generation service for software companies. We match software buyers - whom we meet on the web - with a short list of software companies that can meet their needs. Software companies pay us when we make referrals that match their target customer profile. Buyers get free advice; software companies get highly qualified leads. It all works out quite nicely. 

Who we are 
We’re a team of 160 crushin’ it in SoCo. Our culture is our greatest advantage. We like what we do and we like each other. We get stuff done. We thrive on progress and momentum. Our customers like us. So do the software buyers we help. We were founded in 2005 and we’ve been profitable since 2007. Because we’ve bootstrapped our business (i.e. no venture capital), we can put our employees first, rather than cater to investors.
