Date: September 28, 2015
Time: 5-7pm
Location: CLA 1.302E
Department of State Diplomat in Residence Floyd Cable will host an Information Session on careers and internships (summer, fall or spring assignments) in the world of diplomacy in Washington or at embassies and consulates across the globe.
The U.S. Department of State – and our employees – promotes freedom and democracy throughout the world, helping countries lift themselves out of poverty to become prosperous, stable and democratic states. We’re continuously striving to find ways to work together as a country to maximize the impact of America’s resources.
Internships provide you an opportunity to “try out” the Department and see if you’ll want to pursue a career as a Foreign Service Officer or a professional with the Civil Service here in the United States.
