Working with the Membership Director, the Membership Coordinator will provide support to the 16,000 members of TownLake YMCA. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for member engagement, staff engagement, and branch events, and administrative duties to support the Membership Department and TownLake YMCA. 

This individual is responsible for the initiation and implementation of new programs, membership engagement and retention initiatives - including onboarding new members, membership appreciation and YMCA association events and activities and the evaluation and modification of these initiatives; the training and supervision of necessary staff, volunteers, and implementation of "Financial Assistance for All" program. This person will further ensure that all YMCA standards are being met and/or exceeded as they relate to membership and program development. This position works independently under general direction and is expected to determine how to accomplish tasks. 

The Membership Coordinator will join the Key Staff team to inform branch decisions and work collaboratively with branch Directors and Coordinators to improve the member and community experience.
