Nick earned his B.S. in Psychology with a specialization in cognitive science from Michigan State University in 2014. At MSU, he conducted research about social media and false memory under the supervision of Dr. Kimberly Fenn. Nick is currently a third year graduate student working with Dr. David Schnyer. His research focuses on memory distortion and negative attention bias, specifically using EEG to investigate effects of emotional valence and memory in individuals with depressive symptoms. His interests include psychophysiological techinques like EEG to understand memory processes. He also conducts fMRI sessions with traumatic brain injury patients.
