Working with Immigrants and Refugees in Public Schools

This workshop for K-12 educators and administrators will examine issues that affect immigrant and refugee students in public schools, and will showcase programs and strategies for working with diverse groups of students in the classroom. Speakers from UT Austin, Austin Independent School District, and various community organizations will delve into a variety of issues that affect both educators and students.

Attendees will receive:
• 5 Professional Development Hours (CPE)
• Lunch

This workshop is free, but registration is required.
