Research
Workgroups
The Department of Sociology has a number of research workgroups. Faculty and students in the Department and affiliated programs who have similar research interests in ethnography, aging, crime/law/deviance, education, family, gender and sexuality, politics and development, and race and ethnicity hold meetings and events and share resources in these groups. Not all groups meet regularly each semester. Please visit the workgroup websites, contact coordinators about current schedules and other questions, and consider joining if interested.
