Second-Year AMS Major Emma Robinson Wins Unrestricted Endowed Presidential Fellowship

Emma Robinson, a second-year American Studies and Political Communications
double major at UT-Austin, has been awarded the Unrestricted Endowed Presidential Scholarship (UEPS) for the 2019-20 academic year.

The UEPS program is considered one of the most notable scholarship offers for UT-Austin students. The program was created in 1973 to make available substantial scholarships for outstanding students at UT-Austin. In addition to a nomination by their academic department and display of academic excellence, strong consideration is given to students exhibiting leadership and continuous involvement in extracurricular activities.

Emma's academic and research interests include Urban Development, Civil Rights and
Civil Liberties, Housing Discrimination, American History, and Public Policy.
