Student Affairs Advisors and the Dean's Office

Peer advisors are available via chat to answer quick questions, make referrals, raise maximum hours, and connect students to Dean’s Office advisors to discuss withdrawing, q-dropping courses, pass/fail changes, graduation, VA certification, and other issues during drop-in advising hours Monday through Friday. Daily hours of availability are posted within the chat link.

Student Affairs advisors in the Dean’s Office also see students who are undeclared, on scholastic probation, on scholastic dismissal, seeking an official degree check, seeking an exception to degree requirements, in an emergency situation. Undeclared students should make appointments for official degree checks, registration advising, success advising, and major exploration. Students with declared majors in Liberal Arts or seeking access to courses in a Liberal Arts department should schedule appointments with advisors in that department. Departmental advisor contact info including appointment scheduling information is accessible under “Find My Advisor"

Please note appointments are not available during the first four class days and other high traffic times when all Student Affairs advisors in the Dean’s Office advise on a drop-in basis. During these times please connect with a peer advisor via chat to determine the appropriate next steps.
